Dr. Sohail Khan

Dr. Khan holds a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Management from Harvard University and he is passionate about healthcare economics and providing quality healthcare to his patients. He is a graduate of the Aga Khan University Medical College (03) followed by clinical training in several top institutes in the United States. Dr. Khan is an experienced cardiologist (Diplomat American Board) well versed with a variety of cardiovascular and structural/peripheral vascular disease. Dr.Khan comes with a track record of successful leadership positions in the United States for the last 18 years. In addition to practicing medicine in the US, he has been Director of Vascular Services and was instrumental in launching many successful clinical programs. Dr. Khan is passionate about medical education and training other healthcare providers and nursing staff.

He is the Chairman of New Cardiovascular Horizons (NCVH-Salt Lake), a multidisciplinary cardiovascular conference in Salt Lake City, USA. He has also been a faculty speaker at multiple national and international cardiovascular conferences. By bringing Dr. Khan into the leadership role at NICVD as COO, we hope to bring new ideas and direction in our public sector institute which will be focused on providing high quality care on par with the international standards.
